To ensure safe, efficient, and consistent operations within Rooted Gymnastics Academy while maintaining a welcoming, respectful, and professional environment for athletes, families, and staff. 1. Facility Access & Hours Athletes and families may enter the gym no earlier than 10 minutes prior to their scheduled class. Only registered athletes and approved staff are permitted on the gym floor or on any equipment. Parents and siblings must remain in designated viewing areas. All participants must sign in before class. 2. Attendance & Punctuality Athletes are expected to attend classes regularly and arrive on time. If an athlete is unable to attend, parents/guardians should notify the gym in advance. Make-up classes may be offered when available but are not guaranteed. 3. Safety Procedures Athletes must follow coach instructions at all times. Proper gymnastics attire (leotard, athletic shorts, hair secured) is required. No jewelry. Coaches will perform routine equipment checks for safety. Emergency exits and first aid equipment must remain accessible at all times. 4. Behavior Expectations Respectful conduct is required from athletes, families, and staff. Bullying, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Athletes must treat teammates, coaches, and equipment with care. Parents are expected to support athletes positively and respect staff decisions. 5. Communication General announcements will be shared via email, social media, and posted in the facility. Concerns should be addressed privately with the Program Director, not during class times. Staff meetings will occur monthly to review operations, safety, and program updates. 6. Emergency Procedures In the event of injury, staff will follow the Injury Report Procedure and contact parents immediately. In the event of severe weather, power outage, or emergency evacuation, athletes will be escorted safely and parents notified. 7. Payments & Registration All athletes must be registered and have a signed waiver on file before participating. Tuition is due on the first of each month/session unless otherwise arranged. Late payments may result in a late fee or suspension from class until resolved. 8. Facility Cleanliness Athletes and families are responsible for keeping personal belongings in designated areas. No food, gum, or drinks (other than water) are allowed in the gym. Staff will ensure the gym is cleaned.
